Pearls, White Perfect Oval, 9mm

Freshwater pearls come in many levels of quality, and these are among the best, near-perfect glistening teardrops of glossy white. 

Each pearl measures roughly 9x7mm, and each strand about 13.5" with 44-47 beads. Knotted and with a clasp, these should work out to 16-17" as a finished necklace. The holes on these are consistent and will accommodate a size 6 thread.

Pearls were once counted among the most precious of all jewels, and natural pearls remain rare beyond compare. These cultured pearls, each one starting with a shell bead at its core, are allowed to grow inside a freshwater mussel for anywhere from one to three years.
